WHAT TO EXPECT AT MY ‘HEADSHOT DAY’ EVENTS.

As this Headshot Day event is run a little differently to my usual branding sessions, here’s more detail on what you can expect every step of the way.

Session Fee

Your Session Fee is due at the time of booking to secure your preferred date & time. Your booking is not complete until the session fee is received.
The session fee covers our time spent at the custom location, as well as your choice of 10 final images. You're welcome to purchase more images from your gallery if you choose. Additional images are $44 each.

Cancellations & Reschedules

Due to the nature of this one-day event, the session fee is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, the session fee may be used as credit towards another Mini Brand Session event held in 2025, or towards a full branding session (with the difference in package costs payable) anytime during 2025 only.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the digital deliverables, no refunds will be permitted once I have delivered your digital files.

If you have concerns about your final images at all, please let me know so I can address and rectify your concerns.


Editing

Your photos will be given a ‘light’ edit, which includes enhancements to exposure, contrast, saturation, hue and sharpness. If you’d like extra editing or image manipulation applied to any photos in particular, please request a quotation for this additional work.

Photo Curation

Even thought you’ll see me take literally hundreds of photos at your session, you won’t be seeing every photo I take. It’s my job to curate the photos for you and show you only the photos that I feel best represent your brand. You’ll receive a link to a ‘selection gallery’ - a collection of the photos I have curated for you where you’ll go through and choose the photos you’d like included in your package. You’ll also have the opportunity to add more images if you like - the choice is yours!

Your Use of the Images

Feel free to use, share and use the images for the purposes of promoting your business. There are so many ways to use your new brand photos to promote your business, just a few would be: use on your website, social media profiles and content, blogging (both your blog and any other blog that you write guest articles for), course workbooks, online courses, brochures, flyers, newpaper articles, magazine features, press releases, media kits)

As the images from your session have been custom created to suit your business needs, please do not give or sell the images to other similar businesses or friends to use to promote their businesses (for example if you used another businesses products in your shoot, you’re welcome to tag them in a social media post, but do not send them the image file for them to use in a magazine feature). This would generally only appy to ‘stock images’ and ‘product images’ that we create for you.

To maintain the integrity of my copyrighted work, do not change, edit or apply filters to the photos from this session IN ANY WAY. This also includes not using Artificial Intelligence (AI) software to edit or change the photos.


My Use of the Images

To help me grow my business, and as the copyright owner, I will be sharing the images from your session on my website and social media platforms to help others decide if I’m the right photographer for them. If you prefer that I don’t share the images from your session online, please let me know via email - I respect everyone’s right to privacy.

Retention of Images

I will keep copies of the images from your session for a period of 12 months from the session date. After this time I may dispose of the images at any time if I need to. I recommend that you make 3 additional backup copies of your purchased photographs for safe-keeping (1. on computer hard drive, 2. on a separate removable storage device, 3. on offsite cloud storage).


What if I Get Sick?

If I, Janelle, become unwell or incapacitated for any reason and cannot attend the event, I will organise another day to host the event and you’ll have the opportunity to transfer your booking time over to the new date. If you’re unable to attend the new event date, all monies paid to date will be fully refunded.
