Brand photos that make people want to book you
When people are searching for a service based business that is quite personal in nature, it can often be a daunting process. For example, someone wanting to work with a psychologist may be feeling quite vulnerable and unsure, especially if it’s their first time seeking counselling.
Websites that look clinical and impersonal may convey a feeling of coldness, causing someone to hesitate in getting in touch.
However, what if that same person came across a website that was filled with natural and authentic photos that made them instantly feel at ease? How much more likely is that person going to have the confidence to reach out and book a session to get their help they desperately need!
Real brand photos like this can help people feel a human to human connection before an in-person meeting has even taken place. As opposed to generic stock photos, or AI generated headshots that may appear to put up a polished facade, but are actually void of personality and soul.
Here are the types of brand photos that I created for Sydney based psychologists, The Self Centre to help connect with their clients in the ‘consideration’ stage of the customer journey, and make them comfortable to reach out and book a session.
Team headshots.
Of course, every ‘About’ website page should have photos of each team member in your organisation. It helps people to connect faces with names when they eventually do reach out and speak on the phone.
‘Working’ brand photos.
It’s always helpful to have ‘working’ brand photos in your content library - those photos that show what you do, and how you do it. In the case of this team of psychologists, that means showing what an actual counselling session looks and feels like. Now an enquiring customer can picture the space they’ll potentially be in, setting expectations and removing any fear of the unknown.
Details of your space.
Another type of brand photo that often goes overlooked are details of the space. They can help set the mood and tone virtually, just as the decor pieces set the mood and tone in the actual physical space. Again, they help people know what to expect, so when they actually arrive in the space, they already have a feeling of familiarity and connection.
Group team photos.
Although a counselling client wouldn’t normally encounter the entire team at their session, group photos show that the team you’re trusting in works well together and connects on an emotional level. Great culture and healthy relationships in the workplace translates to a positive experience for the client.
“We absolutely loved our day with you. You made it surprisingly easy for us all, and were just such a joy to work with. I really appreciate your time, and thank you so much for such beautiful photos - exactly what I was hoping for!”
Not only do these types of brand photos help people make purchasing decisions when searching online, but they also give you months and months worth of social media content. Bonus!
